JESS CROMBIE
stories, contenT & ETHICS
A senior consultant helping NGOs deliver their stories powerfully, effectively and ethically.
As commissioner and co-author of The People in the Pictures report, senior lecturer in ethics and image making at UAL and co-chair of the People in the Pictures BOND group, I am one of the industry’s leading thinkers around responsible image making and image use. I can review your existing thinking in this area, and help you put in place the structures and plans needed to operate within industry best practise.
A content strategy is the thinking that pulls together the stories that you gather with audiences that you wish to reach, and the actions that you wish them to take.
Whether you are one person or a global team of many, I can help you make the most of the resources, budgets, processes and people that you have to help you tell your stories powerfully and effectively.
As an experienced trainer and workshop facilitator, I can deliver one off sessions, or a series of workshops to help you and your staff explore both the background issues that affect storytelling in the humanitarian and development space, and what tangible actions you might take to create positive change.
I also support sernior staff at a 1:1 level to advise and mentor you on your journey.
